UK Safety Network Ltd, the organisation behind this web site, has worked with Theatre Technical Training Services for many years, helping to deliver technical and safety training to TTTS members and to other organisations working in theatre and the performing arts. TTTS and PDU clients have included Royal Opera House, Esplanade (Singapore), English National Opera, Glyndebourne, Royal Albert Hall, Cirque du Soleil, RSC, Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, New Isreali Opera.
UK Safety Network Ltd has also assisted event management companies and support companies (e.g. equipment hire companies) such as PCI (London), Evenser and Ultimate Events, to develop safety systems, safety policies, manage event safety and deliver training.

Developing safety management systems, risk assessments, safe systems of work and method statements. Project included auditing the safety arrangements for each of Cirque du Soleil's touring shows, identifying and recording existing risk control measures and risk control systems that contribute to safety management, identifying existing measures and systems that required remedial action to ensure that they did not compromise good safety management, and providing new solutions to minimise risks. |

NMEC |
Safety advisors for the official opening ceremony for the Millenium Dome, London, 31st December 1999. Project included guiding the NMEC Safety Manager on legislation and risk management, reviewing the opening ceremony performance to identify hazards and risks, and developing risk assessments and risk control systems. |

Ultimate Events |
Safety consultants for Microsoft® Tech-Ed 2001 in Barcelona Project included developing a safety management policy and systems for the event, briefing contractors, reviewing contractors' safety documentation, monitoring the work of contractors and advising event management on safety issues. |

Blitz Communications Group |
Development of a coporate health and safety policy, Autumn 2001 onwards Initially, the project was to develop a health and safety policy for Blitz Sound and Vision, a part of Blitz Communications Group which is itself a susbsidiary of the Evenser Group. As the work progressed it was decided to extend the project to encompasse the whole of Blitz Communications. |

Audit of the Barbican safety management systems, Autumn 2002 Project included examination of the policy, procedures and practices relating to safety management for the Barbican Centre, with reports submitted at director level and to a development committee established to review and revise the Centre's policy and procedures. |

Barbican Theatre |
Development of an interrim health and safety policy, Autumn 2002 Following the departure of the RSC from its home at the Barbican, the Barbican Centre took over responsibility for safety management of the theatre. The project was to develop an interrim health and safety policy that would enable safety to be managed in the short term and act as a model for the development of a full safety management policy and system for the long term. |
