It must be apparent that the theatre and performing arts industry is becoming more safety conscious and that courses are arranged for technicians to enable them to work safely at height, to perform manual handling tasks safely, etc., but are we neglecting a source of danger? Do we assume that competent tecnicians can use abrasive wheels equipment such as angle and bench grinders safely?
